Ari grew up in the heart of the midwest in Cleveland, Ohio where his abiding interest in design and the visual arts was fostered through classes at the Cleveland Museum of Art and, later, at the Cleveland Institute of Art. He experimented with graffiti, photography, graphic design and a variety of painting techniques using chalk, oil and watercolors. When it was time for him to begin more advanced studies, and fueled by an eclectic curiosity, Ari temporarily abandoned his art education and completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Pennsylvania, focusing on Communication and Marketing.  

After 10 years of working in advertising and digital media, helping fashion brands and retailers reach and engage with their audiences, Ari has transitioned from being a Creative Director, Art Director, Digital Strategist and Producer to spending more and more time behind the camera. 

Ari has come full-circle and rediscovered his love for the creative process, now focusing on digital photography and motion work as well as original film formats. Ari believes that every image needs a strong narrative and he tries to incorporate storytelling into his visual approach.
